The FEMP General Assembly will be held on September 24
The 10th General Assembly of the FEMP, which will renew their governing bodies, will be held on September 24 in Madrid, according to the resolution adopted today by the Executive Committee, which requested the Chairman to call for that date General Assembly.
The FEMP Executive Committee has studied the organizational details of what will be its tenth General Assembly and agreed that it expires in one day, responding to criteria of austerity and savings.
On the morning after the opening session and election of officers, is on deliberative work, until early afternoon. In parallel, start the nomination process, to make the evening the votes and the proclamation of the President, Vice Presidents and other members of government bodies: the Executive Committee and Federal Council.
The work of the Assembly is structured around four working groups: Economy and Local Development, Social Sustainability, Territorial Cohesion and Public Services, and Statutes, which will raise their proposed resolutions to the plenary.
Although the Assembly session in September is a preview of schedule before, maintaining the initial deadlines set for the end of the census of Local Authorities have joined the Federation and the approval of the census of the Assembly: 31 for new members in July and before 1 September for the communication of the agreement of the plenary to the Federation.
The end of the period for amendments to the proposed resolutions are set at September 12, the deadline for registration and proxy voting ends on September 19.
The convening of the Assembly together with the supporting documentation has been submitted to the Local Authorities have joined the FEMP, in electronic form. This is the registration form, the document to the proxy, the draft agenda, proposed resolutions, the form for submission of amendments to proposed resolutions, the Management Report, Articles of the Federation Assembly and Regulation.
The Assembly will be held at the fairground IFEMA Trade Fair, located in the Campo de las Naciones, in particular, in Congress and Convention Center North of these facilities.

The FEMP has put into operation from today, the Web site www.asamblea.femp.es with all information essential to follow the 10 th Assembly. This portal offers, among other content, news, events calendar and documents necessary for the participants in the meeting.
Also, in order to facilitate the process, the day before the Assembly (Friday, September 23) will enable an operation at the headquarters of the Federation for collecting badges and documentation.
