The Government will meet the FEMP to coordinate energy-saving measures


The Government will meet next week with representatives of the FEMP and the Autonomous Communities in order to coordinate measures to promote energy saving by the public administrations, as announced by Vice President Alfredo Perez Rubalcaba on his appearance after the Council of Ministers




The aim is that the next Council meeting these new measures can be adopted and, together with energy saving measures already adopted in other fields today, may come into force next March 7.
 
In the meeting with the FEMP will be analyzed when performing the lighting of the cities and also in reducing energy consumption in buildings, including a number of other measures.
 
These energy saving measures are part of a broader package of measures approved today by the Council of Ministers, actions to promote a reduction in energy bills among which include, among others, initiatives to reduce the maximum speed (120 km / h to 110 km / h) and cheaper fares commuter train and a half away.
