The Mayor of Valencia, Rita Barberá, presiding officers of the Assembly of the FEMP. The Bureau of the Assembly, composed of five members, representing the highest authority in the course of this meeting.



A more effective FEMP, closer and able to excite and foster consensus and understanding has been the demand made by the Mayor of Valencia, Rita Barberá, in his speech after being appointed chair of the Bureau of the General Assembly. This Committee, composed of five persons, is the repository of the highest authority in the course of the assembly. Barbera has called cohesion, consensus, working together, breadth and, above all, dialogue. Finally, invited participants to "be proud of municipal management" before the new era opens for FEMP.
 
Along with Rita Barbera, the Bureau of the Assembly the President of the Diputación de Jaén, Francisco Reyes, and the Mayor of Salamanca, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco as First and Second Vice Presidents, and the mayors of Cordoba, Jose Antonio Nieto, and Zalamea la Real (Huelva), Marcos García Núñez, as First and Second Secretaries.
 
Once established the Bureau, the Chair voted for approval the composition of the Working Groups, which was approved unanimously. Then began the meeting of those tables where we proceeded to debate proposed amendments to the Resolutions
