Approved Bill 2011 State Budget
The Cabinet today approved the submission to Parliament of the Bill of General State Budget for 2011, which, among other measures, it confirms the objective of containing the budget deficit for the next three years until circa 3% of GDP in 2013.
To meet this perspective of fiscal consolidation, the budget of 2011 had a lower non-financial expenditure of the State of 7.9 per 100 compared to 2010 on a comparable basis, without taking into account the amount of funding for local authorities.
